Avoid oil based product, waterproof mascara and makeup removers. I highly suggest using an oil free facial cleanser to remover you makeup only.
Pamper your lash extensions daily with a lash bath that includes a extensions safe shampoo. Use just one pump of foam per eye and lather with your lash extension brush. Rinse with cool water and blot dry. Gently brush lashes daily to maintain a good appearance.
Avoid sauna's and hot tubs for 48 hours, and use caution when near or using a blow dryer and oven. High heat on lash extensions could distort the shape of the extensions.
No tinting or perming of the natural lashes while wearing extensions.
Never pull off the lash extensions as this may pull out your natural lashes, damage or even cause permanent damage to your natural lashes.
Never apply mascara to your lash extensions! This will completely damage you lash extensions, furthermore needing a removal, and a fullset.
Maintaining the health of your lash extensions is essential to enjoy their full, fluttery beauty without harming your natural lashes. Firstly, gentle cleansing is key. Use a lash extension-safe cleanser and a soft brush or wand to clean your extensions daily. Avoid oil-based products around the eyes, as these can break down the adhesive and cause your extensions to fall out prematurely. Pat the lashes dry after cleansing; rubbing can cause damage.
Secondly, be mindful of your sleeping habits. Sleeping on your back or using a silk or satin pillowcase can help prevent your lash extensions from getting tangled or crushed while you sleep. It's crucial to resist the temptation to pick or pull at your extensions, as this can damage your natural lashes and lead to uneven lash lines. Also, refrain from using mechanical eyelash curlers, as they can break both your extensions and your natural lashes. Lastly, consider regular touch-up appointments with a trained lash technician to maintain the health and appearance of your extensions, ensuring that they continue to look their best while preserving your natural lash health. By following these practices, you can enjoy long-lasting, beautiful lash extensions without compromising your lash health.
